Eleven Rack: Distortion Pedals for Metal patches

So you got you're eleven rack, want some heavy distortion but can't seem to get it? here's a little tip that might help.
For the people that don't know much about amplifiers and how they work (I'm one of them I prefer to concentrate more on playing and less on tweaking) this should be new, a real tube amplifier works on saturation for distortion, since they are really dinamic sounding any variation you make between your guitar and the amp will change the sound more than many of you guys might think.

The eleven rack been a unit that tries to be as close as possible to the real tube amp works the same way. Lets say you've got passive pickups on your guitar and you want to play some of those heavy riffs you hear on your favorite band, the pickups on your guitar don't produce enough output for the distortion to sound as brain melting as you want.
But fear not, the eleven rack's got you cover with the distortion pedal, but why distortion over distortion? are you crazy? (you might say) the distortion pedals not only works to give distortion to the amp sound they also work to give more saturation to it, the more saturated the sound the heavier and thighter it's going to be. Of course we are not going to use the overdrive nob on the distortion pedal all the way to the end (that would be crazy) just a tiny push, at 9 o clock or a little more will do the trick.

So give it a go, let me know what are you're thoughts on the subject and how well are your presets now
